Teen Classroom Course
24-Hour Teen Drivers Ed: $230
- Completed TDLR-approved 24-hour classroom driver education course for teens ages 14-17.
- Received Texas Teen Driver Education Certificate (DE-964) for learner license after completing the first 6-hour course.
- Received final Texas Teen Driver Education Certificate of Completion upon finishing the full 24-hour course.
- Passed the Texas DPS written permit exam in the classroom.
Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course (Teens 16-17)
- Successful completion of the Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) program is a prerequisite for the driving skills examination.
- Applicants must view the ITTD course in its entirety and obtain a certificate of completion prior to scheduling the road test.
- Certificate is valid for a period of 90 days from issuance.
